F/W23: Bloomsbury
London-based photographer Ekua King takes a closer look at this season’s rich textures and intricate patterns.
Items featured are inspired by the bohemian artistry of the Bloomsbury Group, whose dandyish stylings and richly tactile surroundings manifest in a series of Paisley-emblazoned items. Textured corduroy and plush knitwear – such as the Flint Shirt and Pant, and Medford Sweater – appear alongside seasonally-appropriate down outerwear, like the Springfield Jacket and Vest.
The palette is composed of deep shades of green, burgundy, and brown, evoking that of detailed tapestries and vintage scarves. Meanwhile, the Olten Bomber offers a sense of contrast, due to its high-shine sateen shell and teal blue colorway.
