S/S25: Icons
The familiar and the failsafe. The time-honored, tried and tested. Carhartt WIP’s icons are items that can be depended on; reliable in their robustness and consistent in their construction.
If not known by name, they are instantly recognized by their details. Double-layer knees, tool pockets and a hammer loop on the Double Knee Pant; tough triple stitching and four front pockets on the Michigan Coat; or cinching rib-knit trims and a hood on the Women’s OG Active Jacket – all set on a Dearborn Canvas or denim base. Each season, these styles are reimagined in new washes, finishes and colorways, echoing the themes of the collection.
For Spring/Summer 2025, canvas classics appear in dusky blue, green and pink, reflecting the transition of the seasons. The items have also undergone a ‘stone dye’ treatment, giving them a faded, textural quality.
Worn by a cast of Paris locals and shot by photographer Jeano Edwards, these soft, cloud-like pastels are set against the solid block colors of Le Sample, a cultural institution in the city’s eastern suburbs. Lightweight jersey t-shirts and shirts complete the collection.
