Sicily: Ortigia Sound System
Carhartt WIP is traveling south to be part of this year’s Ortigia Sound System festival in Sicily, Italy, hosting four special boat parties. On the vessel we welcome DJs like Antinote records head-honcho Zaltan, Dutch expert for hard-to-find Italo disco gems Young Marco, balearic dreamer Suzanne Kraft, singer-songwriter, composer and performer Mim Suleiman, as well as DJ Seinfeldfrom Sweden who will introduce his new DJ Kicks mix together with the !K7 Soundsystem.
The festival goes down on July 25th to 29th featuring an illustrious line-up including artists such as British pop connoisseurs Hot Chip, James Holden & The Animal Spirits, mighty dub organizer Lee Scratch Perry, UK Jazz one-of-a-kind Kamaal Williams, the psychedelic tripping Mystic Junglecrew from Italy, a special concert by the French cover version seducers Nouvelle Vague as well as DJs like Call Super, Mafalda or Dan Shake.
