Silence is not an option
We believe the voices of brands are not those that should be heard the loudest right now. However, silence and inaction is also not an option. Without Black people and Black culture, there would be no Carhartt WIP. We want to express our solidarity with all those protesting racial injustice, both in the US and worldwide.
We’ll be donating to the following causes:
The NAACP, founded in 1909, is a civil rights organization which strives for “political, educational, social, and economic equality.”
BEAM is a project committed to the emotional and mental healing of Black people through community-based systems of care.
Grow Detroit’s Young Talent is a citywide summer jobs program that trains and employs young adults, providing them with news experiences and skills, while also opening up career pathways.
