Tom Król for Carhartt WIP

As part of its S/S21 men’s and women’s collections, Carhartt WIP has worked with German artist Tom Król, transforming his floral paintings into an allover motif, applied to both a short sleeve shirt and shorts.

In addition, this season’s women’s collection also features another unique print from Król, dubbed ‘Sauce’, which comprises a series of abstract line drawings. This print has been applied to a shirt with a notched lapel and a pair of shorts, both executed in a lightweight viscose poplin fabric.

Born in 1991, Tom Król lives and works in the city of Cologne. He studied at Dusseldorf’s Kunstakademie, and has since gone on to exhibit his work in London, Berlin, and Brussels, while also releasing a series of publications.
