Video premiere: Babeheaven - In My Arms (Live at Real World Studios)
NTS WIP participants Babeheaven are a London-based group, consisting of two friends, singer Nancy Andersen and guitarist/songwriter Jamie Travis. Their soulful approach to songwriting has already been documented on three arresting singles, released via the London/Manchester based Indie record label Handsome Dad Records.
Now the duo, known for pairing hypnotic trip-hop with confessional lyrics, has unveiled a new live video performance recorded at Peter Gabriel’s recording sanctuary in Wiltshire, known as Real World Studios.
With delicately sung vocals and a sweetly crafted backing, Babeheaven lay down a masterful rendition of their new single, "In My Arms" – a taster ahead of their forthcoming debut album Home For Now, that will be released on November 20th.
