Carhartt WIP Radio and Nicholas Daley: ‘Rise As One’
Created for Carhartt WIP Radio, 'Rise As One' is a mix by Jamaica-born, Brooklyn-based artist Ayanna Heaven, accompanying our latest collaboration with designer Nicholas Daley. It’s part of a project supporting those affected by Hurricane Melissa, and the ongoing recovery across Jamaica and the Caribbean – a cause that hits close to home for Nicholas.
The project draws on themes of sound system culture and Jamaican heritage, reflecting a broader message of unity and solidarity during a difficult time. In the same spirit, Ayanna’s selection of tracks spans generations of Jamaican music, from Lennie Hibbert and Bob Marley to Chronixx and Iotosh.
A limited-edition 'Rise As One' T-shirt, designed by Nicholas Daley and produced by Carhartt WIP, is available exclusively from nicholasdaley.net. 100% of proceeds go directly to Food For The Poor, supporting both immediate relief and long-term recovery in Jamaica and across the Caribbean.
